Congratulations to workshop trainee, Gareth Cowley on achieving his NVQ Level 2 Qualification in "Performing Engineering Operations".

 

 

 

 

 

2nd June 2008:

VSL is pleased to work in conjunction with other local groups and is currently hosting an exhibition of artwork by students of Laurelhill Community College.

All are welcome to view the wide variety of pieces on display in our Haslem's Lane showroom.

3rd March 2008:

Congratulations to VSL Workshop Assistant, Chad Cowley on achieving his NVQ Level 2 Qualification in "Performing Engineering Operations".

 

 

 

 

19th February 2008:

Councillor James Tinsley, Mayor of Lisburn, officially opens VSL's new showroom in Haslem's Lane.

 

 

 

 

 

 

11th November 2007:

VSL is pleased to have secured a grant of £10,000 from "Awards For All" towards the purchase of a new vehicle for our environmental projects.

 

 

 

 

5th November 2007:

VSL hosts Arlene Foster MLA, Minister of the Environment and Councillor James Tinsley, Mayor of Lisburn.

 

 

Our guests toured both the furniture and white goods workshops, meeting staff, trainees and volunteers and viewing the goods on display.

 

 

 

At the end of the visit, our guests were presented with items made in our workshop, including planters and handcrafted wooden bowls.
