More than ever, we all need to escape our hectic modern lives
at times and where better to do that than in a healthy, green
environment.
We aim to preserve and enhance
the beauty of our natural environment and to create valuable
and much needed surroundings including:
- Historic urban open
spaces
- Countryside walks
- Woodland and wildflower
management
- Natural landscapes
- Lagan corridor
- Wildlife habitat

Our ongoing conservation
projects carry out environmental work such as constructing
paths for public access, tree, shrub and woodland planting,
hedgerow creation and riverside enhancement.
Thanks to funding from Lisburn
City Council and P.B.N.I., we aim to improve and preserve
the natural landscape for all. Our conservation projects make
use of volunteers, workers on 'New Deal' programmes and those
serving Community Service Orders.
