Dunmurry Safe & Well Scheme , funded by the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust, provides a range of services designed to help the elderly stay safe and well in comfort of their own homes.

Our service ...

As part of the overall scheme, we provide a domestic care service designed to -

• Befriend users
  
  
• Help with shopping
  
  
• Carry out light housework - dusting, vacuuming, ironing, etc.

Like our other projects, Dunmurry Safe & Well Scheme is intended to supplement other services, not replace them.

Referrals ...

Interested individuals can contact Dunmurry Community Services who will, if appropriate, forward details to us. We then carry out an assessment of the user's needs.

Who is eligible ...

Older or vulnerable adults living in the greater Dunmurry area including Areema, Derriaghy, Drumbeg, Drumbo, Dunmurry, Milltown, Purdysburn Village and Seymour Hill.

How It Works ...

If we can provide an appropriate service, and subject to availability, a care worker will be assigned.

Users are invited to provide feedback on the service on an ongoing basis via our evaluation questionnaires.
